We at Desi Driving School, offer excellence in driver’s education. We have an all-inclusive package for teens including 32 classroom hours, 14 in-car hours, Vision test, Standard transmission and permit test for a total cost of $390.We will be offering weekend classes for teen driver’s Ed class in February 2012. For adults we provide permit classes and State of Texas Certified Behind the Wheel Driving instructions.

According to the new law, all teenagers are required to go to DPS Office as they will be issued Instruction Permit (Learner’s License) with Photograph and security features. Parents have to take their kids to DPS once they have all the required documents to be shown to DPS, listed below line 4.

**Required Documents:

  1. An Application signed by both the student and a guardian
  2. A payment of $390.00 cash or check.
  3. A black ink pen and a notebook should be brought to all classes
  4. Documents to be shown to DPS:
  • Certified Birth Certificate (No foreign birth certificate accepted, must have resident alien card, passport with visa, Texas id or citizenship papers)
  • Original Social Security Card
  • A valid TEA Form (proof of enrollment obtained from school office) – Valid for only 30 days from the date issued.
  • Forms given by us – DE964 & DL-14A (permit application form given by instructor on Day 1)
  • $6 for 18 below and $26 for 18 and above, which is submitted to DPS Office for Permit Application.
